SYDNEY, May 7
The publisher of the “Western Times,” Bathurst, was fined £1 f° r publishing a portion of the broadcasting programme, without the consent of the station concerned. . This is the first case of the kind in the Commonwealth under the Wireless Telegraphy Act. The ’ charge related to the Moorefield race results, which the Telegraph Department ascertained were not transmitted by telephone, therefore must have been obtained from wireless.
