London doctors are once more debating the old question: ‘‘ls smoking injurious?” The well-worn controversy has been re-opened in the columns of a big daily newspaper. Opinions differ, as per usual. Meantime the man in the street continues to puff his cares away, serenely indifferent. He’s not worrying over the verdict. Fact is it’s all a question of nicotine. Given a tobacco free or practically free, from the poison, and iiistead of proving harmful it will be found beneficial. “But where is such tobacco to be had?” you may ask. Why, right here in New Zealand! It’s as free from nicotine as it is possible for it to be. That's where it differs from the imported article —usually rank with nicotine. The explanation is that it’s toasted. That absorbs the nicotine, develops flavour and aroma, and renders it perfectly harmless! You can smoke it from cock-crow to sunset, and after that, and take no barm. Ask for Riverhead Gold, Cut Plug No. 10, Cavendish or Navy’ Cut. They are all good! 99
