The Shinwari’tribesmen concerned in the recent revolt in Afghanistan have accepted all the Government’s de. mands after a three days’ conference, and have agreed to return the arms, which were looted at Lorkham, to pay the land revenue, and a fine of £lO,OOO. Five ringleaders have been executed, having been blown from the mouth of guns. The Jalalbad tribal territory is being occcuied by 13.000 troops.
