“HOWLERS” FROM HARROW. LONDON, December 29. The following “howlers” have occurred in examination papers at Harrow School :— “There is a special house maid foi the fishes at the Zoo called the Aquarium.” “Trepido Latino—Fearful Latin.” “Alexander the Great was at his death carried out on a coach to show that he was all right.” “The length of a rifle is Bft lOgOz.” “Shavians were a Russian race with a Spartan sense of humour.” “Cacophony is the study of animals.” “Syncope is. a person with a very lively mind.”
