SHIPPING NOTES. The Kaituna will sail on Monday with timber for Melbourne. The Kartigi is loaded with coal for Auckland, and will sail on Monday. The Kanna is loading coal and timber foi- Mirajnar and Wellington, and will sail early. The Poolta is loading timber for Sydney and Brisbane, sailing on Wednesday. The Opihi is due early from Wellington. ’ The Kaiapoi left Auckland on Thursday for Greymouth The Kaimai is due to-morrow from Wellington. The Kamona is due to-morrow morning from Wellington. The Rata has loaded coal for Onakaka and Tarakohe, and sails when the bar moderates. The Titoki is due to-morrow from Wellington, via Nelson and Westport, with general cargo. After discharge she loads coal for Wanganui. The Orepuki will sail when the bar moderates, with timber, for Petone. She leaves Wellington on Tuesday for Westport and Greymouth with general cargo. After discharge she will load coal and poles for Dargaville. The Gabriella is due to sail when the bar moderates, with timber, for Melbourne.

The Kuku is due from Wellington on Monday morning. The Tees leaves Lyttelton' for Chathams on Monday. The Mako is due to-day from Wellington to load coal and timber for Waikokupu. The Parera is due to-day to load timber for Waikokupu and Gisborne. LOADING LINE. RUGBY, December 4. The report of the Committee on load lines of merchant ships has been received by the Board of Trade, and in accordance with its recommendations it is proposed to summon, as soon as possible, an international conference, with the object of getting an international agreement on the subject.
