NAVAL LIMITATIONS.
FRANCE AND ITALY. (By Cable—Press Assn.—Copyright.) PARIS, December 6. According to those who are wellinformed, M. Briand has made it clear to Signor Manzoni that France is not prepared to entertain the idea of naval parity with Italy, on the ground that it would really be disparity, because with half her forces scattered throughout the world, France would be inferior to Italy, who would be able to concentrate in the Mediterranean.
