The scores are:—MeCoriachy (playing) 15,203, including breaks of4l3;ahd 235. Newman 15,883,' including; breaks of 378, 575 and 342. Newman took the lead for the first time in the match with a brilliant 578. He scored 1399 in the afternoon with an average of 101, while MicConachy who. was off "form, only averaged 38. The, New .Zealander in the evening made a fine 413,-averaging 63 against Newman’s 61. In the' other match Lindrum is 3,119 ahead of Smith. Lindrum 20,176, including breaks ::pf .720, 426, 603. Smith (.in play) 17,057, including breaks of 529., 330, .and;6l3 unfinished. .■ ...
