DOCTOR’S DIVORCE
STRUCK OFF MEDICAL REGISTER. LONDON, Not&mber 27. As a sequel to an undefended Scottish divorce case, in which Dr. Angus Du "aid Buchanan, formerly of Glasgow and at present .in Australia, was. ordered to pay £lOOO damages, with costs in addition, the General Medical Council has erased his name fiom the medical register. Malcolm Campbell, the husband of the respondent, denied that theie had been collusion in th© divorce case, and also.that--his wife was dressing better after her acquaintance with. Dr.-Buch-anan. Dr. .Buchanan, in a statement from Queensland, denied that he had seduced Mrs.. Campbell. She took the lead, and when he urged-that the relationship should cease .she threatened to go to his wife. He must, have paid her altogether £250. He had never acted as her medical adviser.
