REEFTON NOTES
(Our Own Corresnondent). REEFTON, December 5. Bad weather conditions still prevail here. Yesterday it rained steadily for the whole day, the rainfall being 109 points. The temperature is decidedly wintry and outside work was at a standstill. Mrs J. /Park, of Woolston, arrived on Tuesday. In connection with the public picnic a meeting was held last evening when Mr Thomas Williams occupied l - the chair. The following collectors were appointed:—Black’s Point, H. CurrySoldiers: O. Griffiths; Crushington: A Bray; Coal Mines South Buller Road Thos. Allen and E. Provis; CronadunMrs T. Allen; Waitahu: W. J. Patterson; North Buller Road: W. Blom and L. Robinson; Business Places: A.
