The Kaituna will sail to-morrow with timber for Melbourne. The Kartigi is loading coal for Auckland, and will sail to-morrow. The Kanna is loading coal and timber for Miramar and Wellington, and will sail on Wednesday. The Poolta is loading timber for Sydney and Brisbane, sailing on Saturday. The Kaitoa sailed tb-day for Tarakohe. The Rata is due to-night from Wanganui, to load, coal for Onakaka. The Titoki is due early from Lyttelton, via Nelson, Westport' and Greymouth, with general cargo. The Gabriella is due. to sail on Thursday with timber for Melbourne. The Orepuki sails on Wednesday with timber for Petone. The Tees left Wellington yesterday afternoon for Chathams.

NEW CARGO VESSELS.

Advice has been received that the Karepo, the second of the two new cargo steamers built by Cammell, Laird and Co., Ltd., at Birkenhead, for the Union S.S. Company, has sailed from the Mersey for Wellington, where she is expected to arrive about January 16. The first of the two ships, the Kaimiro, commanded by Captain J. Rankine, left Birkenhead on October 16 for Wellington; via the Panama Canal, and is due here about December 17. The new ships are similar in design to the Kartigi class. \ ,
