The death is announced from Auckland of a prominent Maori chief, jNapi Wirihana Takanini, the lineal chief of the Waiohua people, who, with Ngaiti, were the original owners of the Tamaka district. • t . ■ A message was received on Saturday at Westport recording the death of Mrs Miller, wife of Rev.
