SPOTS ON SUN
MAGNETIC DISTURBANCES ? (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, November 30. A remarkable sunspot phenomenon is now observable. A string of spots extends almost across the sun. Seventyspots were counted this morning. A particularly large one was visible! to the naked eye in the middle of the line, having a-total diameter, of about 39,000. miles. There may, therefore, be magnetic disturbance within three days. '
