LUXURY LINER
ARRIVAL AT AUCKLAND. (Per Press Association.) ' AUCKLAND, December 1. The American luxury liner Malolo, which is making a tour of the Pacific Ocean, arrived at Auckland from Sydney this morning. Her trip was prd 7 moted by the San Francisco, Chamber of Commerce to enable business meh to come into persona) contact with the peoples of the Pacific. There are 350 Americans on board the liner. Women are in the majority. The men include leaders in business and professional classes from various parts of America. Hon. J. G. Cobbe represented the Government at an official welcome to them. Half of the visitors left for Rotorua this morning, and the other half will go there to-morrow. A comprehensive programme of sightseeing has been arranged. The Malolo leaves for Suva, on Tuesday night. !
