* -W* LONDON PREFERS HUMAN. LONDON, October 28. 1 London and provincial cinema managers realise that the public wants human, instead of mechanical, orchestras. Three large London establishments have re-engaged their former bands, but others, which installed costly “tinned music” apparatus with, the talkies, are still defraying the cost of it, and cannot afford an orchestra. The manager of one important suburban. cinema declares that orchestras must find their way back.
