(Australian Press Assn.) (By Cable—Press Assn—Copyright.,
(Received September 27, 11.45 a.m.) BERLIN, September 26.
Wireless photography and wireless telephony were employed in a remarkable consultation between doctors in Berlin and Buenos Aires.
Dr Pavia, an Argentinian, who is at present in Berlin, had a photograph of a patient’s eye wirelessed to Professor Castex, a Buenos Aires specialist, to whom was telephoned an account of the symptoms. The photograph was received clearly, and Professor Castex diagnosed the disease as a fatal case and incurable. The patient is unaware that a specialist eight thousand miles away, has read his death warrant.
