LONDON, August 28. The Ebor Handicap resulted: — Bonny Boy 1 King’s Oven 2 Kovenden 3 Thirteen started. Won by threequarters of a length.

RIDERLESS HORSE.

MELBOURNE, August 29. Clearing a six feet brush fence, a riderless horse, Polygonum, landed in the Leger reserve at Moonee Valley races, and crashed into the onlookers. One man was injured. The jockey was thrown the first time round in the hurdle race, and had a narrow escape from injury, coming down in the centre of the course. The horse continued to race and when passing the judge’s box swerved off the course and jumped the fence.
