(Our Own Correspondent). A serious accident happened to Mr. G. Ladner in the mine last Saturday morning. While straightening a rope it encircled his arm and broke it in two places as well as doing injury to his hand. He is in the Reef ton hospital. Bright weather is being experienced. Miss L. Thorn has been selected as one of the Inangahua representative hockey players to play on Saturday in Reefton, and Miss Jean Cameron is an emergency forward.
