FURTHER. SHOW AWARDS. Further awards in the Greymouth Poultry. Club’s Annual Show are given below. The Mayor (Mr J. W. Greenslade), at the- official opening yesterday, remarked that it was the Club’s fifth Annual Shoyr, and the display was such to reflect the greatest credit on those responsible, Such exhibitions did much in promoting interest in an industry which could, become an important one on the Coast. The present Show pointed to the fact that in the breeding of specialised strains of poultry, the Coast was not far behind other centres. He congratulated the President (Mr T. Jones) and officials, on the success of the Show, which was early assured and welcomed the Judges, then declaring the Show officially open. The Show was continued last evening, and to-day, good attendances being recorded. To-day, about noon, an excursion train with about three hundred Christchurch people arrived .in Greymouth to attend the Show, which will be open again to-night.
