AUSTRALIANS WIN AGAIN. (Per Press Association.) TIMARU, August 1. Th© touring Australian hockey team defeated South Canterbury at Geraldine to-day by four goals to one. The ground was heavy, and this handicapped the players a good deal. The horn© team put,up a good fight, but the combination of the visitors was the deciding factor. The Australians had the better of play in the first half, and led at the interval by three goals to nil. South Canterbury improved in the se'cond half, but the forwards lacked finish, and good scoring chances were thrown away. Despite the heavy going, the game was an interesting one.
