ALL BLACKS
LEAVE FOR DOMINION. (Australian Press Association.) (By Cable—Press Assn.—Copyright.) SYDNEY, August' 2. The “Herald,” editorially says: The New Zealanders depart to-day, having enhanced their reputation for sportsmanship and clean play. The defeats by Africa and Australia were new experiences to the All Blacks, and raise doubts as to the expediency of the tactical disposition of their forwards. It is at least arguable that a scrum of seven men must be beaten more often than not by a scrum of eight. The “Herald” adds: Followers of the Union code are greatly indebted to New Zealand for the periodical visits of teams, which have 'eased the financial position and provided our players with invaluable experience.
