MAORI CHAMPIONSHIPS. (Per Press Association.) HAMILTON, March 24. The Maori Dominion tennis championships' were continued to-day. The men’s singles rests between E. Howell and P. Howell (Rotorua), who play off later. Results Men’s doubles. —E. and P. Howell beat Tukere aixd Potae (Wanganui) 7/5, 8/6, 6/2. Ladies’ singsei.—Miss D. Newton (Waikato) beat Mrs Swan (Gisborne) 6/1, 6/4. Ladies’ doubles : Misses Newton and Rukutai beat Mrs Swan and Miss Te Ua 7/5, 6/3. The Marumaru Cup for best aggregate for tribe members in the championships was won by Adama (Rotorua). VICTORIAN CHAMPIONSHIPS MELBOURNE, March 24. In the Victorian tennis championships singles final, Crawford beat Willard 6/4, 8/6, 6/3. In the doubles final Hawkes and O’Hara Wood beat Clemengex- and Fitchett 9/7, 6/2, 6/1. In the women’s singles final Mrs Harpex- beat Mrs O’Hara Wood 6/1, 6/1. BOROTRA’S SUCCESS NEW YORK, March 23. Hunter defeated Julius Heligson (Le High College) 6/4, 6/3, 6/2. Borotra beat Hunter in the final 6/4, 6/0, 4/6, 8/6. Tilden and Huntei’ captured the doubles defeating Borotra and Washburn 6/4, 6/2, 1/6, 6/2.

ST. COLUMBA V. GREYMOUTH.

An interesting series of matches was played yesterday between St. Columba and Greymouth Clubs. Weather conditions were good, and the play generally was enjoyed, a crowd watching the games. Greymouth secured an easy win in this, the first tournament between the two clubs. The ladies of both clubs combined in arranging a greatly appreciated afternoon tea.
