LONDON, March 22
The jockey, Steve Donoghue was married secretly last week to Miss Ethel Finn, aged 32 years, the daughter of a barrister. It is stated that she is a woman of independent means.
However, the “Daily Express” states that Steve Donoghue’s bride is one of the American dancers known as the Forde Sisters, and that Finn is her family name.
DIVORCED PEER AND ACTRESS
LONDON, March 22.
Miss June,, a musical comedy actress, was married on Thursday to Lord Inverclyde, in London. Enormous crowds waited for a glimpse of the couple, and surrounded their motor car. The police had to clear the way. The couple were cheered by chorus girls. There were only twenty guests at the wedding. The police and the church officials carefully examined the invitation cards. The honeymoon will be spent at Algiers.
