GREY JOCKEY CLUB
DISTRICT COMMITTEE.
A meeting of the Greymouth Jockey Club District Committee was held this afternoon, when Mr T. E. Coates piesided and there were present Messrs H. J. Bignell, A. Beban, F. H. Kilgour, W. H. Parfitt and H. F. Doogan. The Racing Conference wrote approving of the extension of A. E. L. McMullin’s Conditional Jockey’s License to July 31, 1929. The Racing Conference also wrote that a trainer’s license had been granted to E. Tonkin (provisional and conditional), and a jockey’s license to G. Holley. A jockey’s license was not granted to E. Moran. Trainers’ licenses were recommended for Charles Mercy and Fred Langstone and one for R. J. Riley deferred.
