PRESENTATION OF TROPHIES.

The Greymouth Golf Club closed their 1928 season at the Omoto links yesterday afternoon. Weather conditions were idea! and the function, enticed a good attendance out to the course. During the afternoon the President. Mr W. Meldrum, S.M., presented the trophies won during the season, in his addresss congratulating the club on a. successful season, and the junior members in the great improvement their division had made. Mr and Mrs Moldrum later entertained the Club to afternoon tea. Long driving, put ting, and approaching competitions were held and resulted as follow: — MEN. Long Driving.—W. P. McCarthy.
