OPERA HOUSE. Hoot Gibson comes here again in a new drama, “ A Trick of Hearts, which has been secured by the Opera House, and will show to-night. Hoot, the idol of millions, is seen at his best. PICTURE BENEFIT. Not in many a clay has a photoplay contained more interest and comedy than “High School Hero,” which is to be shown at the Sunday night Picture Benefit in the Opera Hoqse. This is a fast comedy (irama of American youth. HEENEY-TUNNEY FIGHT. One of the most outstanding features of the Heeney-Tunney fight as shown on the picture to be screened at the Opera House on Monday night is the remarkable gameness shown by New Zealand’s popular idol, Tom Heeney. Tunney’s brilliance and lightning punches had no effect on the indomitable Tom. MADAJME POMPADOUR. She was France’s fairest! . The sweetheart of the king. Her friends adored her, her enemies hated her, but all could do nothing but admire her—this woman they called “La Pompadour!” If you would see a tale of romance, you are advised to watch the screen on Monday night at the Opera House. Dorothy Gish is seen as the woman who played nations. CHILDREN’S SHOW CONCERT. The Greymouth Town Hall has been engaged for Thursday evening next, November 15, when a splendid concert programme will be presented, the proceeds to be set aside to assist in providing prizes for competition at the forthcoming Children’s Show, to be held under the auspices of tihe ‘West Coast A. and P. Association. The concert is being organised by Mrs E. Wray, and the programme will include items by the Technical, State, and Marist School choirs. Mr Huntley Spencer, the well-known tenor, will give two items, by special request. The Municipal Band will also be in attendance. Further details of the entertainment will appear later.
