AUCKLAND, September 28.

The steamer Antonio, which arrived from Casablanca, Morocco, to-day, with phosphates, encountered heavy storms during the last ten days of the voyage. When pitching into heavy seas on September 20, the Antonio damaged her propeller, the fact being known at the time by her racing engines.

The vessel is at the King’s Wharf, and an examination of the propeller was made to-night by the Harbour Board’s diver. He found one of the propeller blades had been .broken off near the boss, and the tip of another blade was also damaged. It has not yet been decided where repairs will be effected.
