MOON, MARS AND EARTH.'
(United Service.) (By Cable—Press Assn.—Copyright.)
LONDON, .September 28.
The possibility that a million, years hence, the moon may collide with the earth, destroying all life, was visualised by Sii' Oliver Lodge in an address on the history of the moon. He explained that forces were working in the moon causing it to return to”the earth, whereof it was once a part. Similar forces were working in the moon of the planet Mars, which in a few thousand yetars may come crashing down to the surface of Mars. That will be a fine sight lor those who are alive on earth, but it will end any inhabitants on Mars.
