WELLINGTON, September 27.

The New Zealand A.A.A., at a special meeting decided to invite the folowing American athletes to tour New Zealand: —John Kuck, the world’s champion shot-putter; Leo. Leomond, distance runner ; and C. Borah, sprinter. The Centres are asked for guarantees. The tour opens in January and will end in March. LATER. In addition to the American athletes, it is stated that Nykoff (sprinter) was mentioned by Krogness, the Council’s representative in the States. The suggested itinerary provides for the opening of the tour at Auckland on June 19. The New Zealand Council finds £4OO towards the expenses. Wellington will be asked for £225. with five meetings; Canterbury, three, '£l3s; Auckland, Wanganui and Otago, two, £9O each.
