The New Zealand Boxing championships were continued to-night. The following were the results: —

FLYWEIGHT.

Richmond (Otago) beat Pearcey (Auckland) on points. Knapp (Wellington) beat Gray (Wa--nganui) on points.

BANTAM.

Knuckey (Hawke’s Bay) beat Davies (Auckland) on points. Hurne (Wellington) beat. Roebuck (Taranaki), by a knock-out in the second round.

FEATHERWEIGHTS.

Leslie (Auckland) beat Rodeiick (Gisborne) on points. Donovan (Taranaki) beat Terris (Ashburton). The. latter retired in the second round with an injured leg.

LIGHTWEIGHT.

McKnight (Frankton) beat .Tones (Auckland) on points. Fulcher (Otago) beat Prober t (Hawke’s Bay) on points.

WELTERS

Stone (Wellington) beat McDonald (Manawatu) on points'. Moynihan (Greymouth) < heat Ferguson (Hawke’s Bay). Adams (Southland) beat Dombroski (Taranaki) on points.

MIDDLEWEIGHTS.

Nichol (Southland) beat Waite (Wellington) on points. Turner (Marlborough) beat Davis (Otago) on points.

LIGHT-HEAVY.

Pearce (Wellington) beat Mullins (Auckland) on points.

HEAVYWEIGHT.

Carlson (Wanganui) beat McCarthney (Auckland) on points. Campbell (North Otago) beat Hooper (Wellington). The latter was disqualified in the second round for holding.

Feather: T. C. Donovan (Bst. 131 b.) Taranaki, beat L. Terris (Bst. 12Jlb), Ashburton. Both took heavy punishment.

In the first Welter, J. Moynihan (lOst 7£lb) Greymouth, beat J. Fergusson (lOst 321 b), Hawke’s Bay. The West Coast boxer opened briskly with two -handed clips to the head. Fergusson covered well and scored with a straight left to the jaw. Moynihan’s experience gave him the decision. The tournament will be brought to a conclusion to-night when the finals will be contested. The draw is: — Welter: L. R. Adams (Southland), v. P. Stone (Wellington). Fly:'J. Richmond (Otago), v. 11. Knopp (Wellington). Bantam: C. Hurne (Wellington), v. L. Knuckey. (Hawke’s Bay). Feather: T. C. Donovan (Taranaki), v. G. Leslie (Auckland).

A reply to a cablegram sent by the Northern Boxing Association to Monson, Australian middleweight champion, was considered by the committee of the Association l&st evening. It has given the Australian 24 hours to accept or decline the offer for a match in Auckland against Mclnnes or McDonald. Monson intimated that he wanted a guarantee purse, win, lose or draw. Failing the successful closure of the negotiations, an endeavour will be made to match Charlie Purdy and Jack Carroll at an early date.
