GOLDEN WEST REBEKAH LODGE
The. fortnightly meeting of the Golden West Rebekah Lodge was hold in the Druids’ Hall last evening, and despite a very rough night, a good attendance was present, presided over by Sister A. L. Ogilvie. One sister was reported as being ill. Accounts amounting to £B/7/7 were passed for payment. Sister A. Smart apologised for absence of Sister A. L. Cornwall, assistant organiser of Poster Rail and reported that a gratifying response was being made by large manufacturing firms from different parts of New Zealand, who had forwarded posters, etc., suitable for dresses for the Poster Pall next month. A number of the members intimated their willingness to represent the various firms. Another pleasing feature was the interest being displayed by the local business firms who were promising toyhave their firms represented in an manner.
