WAHABI TRIBESMEN
“HOLY WAR” DENIED
(Australian & N.Z. Cable Association.)
CAIRO, March 9.
Sheiks Hafiz and Wahba arrived at Koweit where they endeavoured to negotiate a settlement. They contradict the report that Ibn Saud declared holy war, or is militarily assisting the tribesmen. On the contrary, Ibn Saud is making an effort to quieten the tribesmen, who have revolted against the British air raids.
