BURGLARIES BY GIRL
CAPTURE BY POLICE.
BERLIN, December 9
A cat burglar mystery that has long baffled the police at Mainz has been solved with the capture of a young servant girl. The police have long sought the burglar, who has been credited with many robberies. They naturally sought an active man, as the usual means of entry to robbed buildings was by way of attics and upper storeys. The girl, when arrested, had a large collection of chisels, skeleton keys, quick acting screws for fastening doors and windows, also ingenious climbing hooks to assist her in scaling steep places and difficult angles. Her associates acted as receivers. An immense quantity of booty was recovered.
