LONDON, January 12. After personal inquiries about the London flood, Mr Baldwin summoned a conference of Government Departments and local authorities on January 16 to discuss measures to prevent a recurrence of the disaster. PARIS, January 12. The Chamber, by 310 to 227, rejected a Socialist motion condemning the Government’s decision to arrest four Communist Deputies, convicted of sedition.
