CROQUET CLUB.
The opening of tHe Makura Croquet Club will take place on Wednesday afternoon. The greens -are in splendid condition, the new motor lawn mower having proved a great success. At the opening a work stall will be doing business, and afternoon tea will be available to mejpbers and friends.

A meeting of the Australian Olympic Federation decided that the Australian national games which will assist in finding representatives for the Olympic Games, will be held at Sydney from . January 7 to 14.
