Miss A. Pratt left to-day on a holiday visit to Christchurch and Timaru.

Mr A. Brown left to-day for Wellington.

Mr Jos. Rouse, Dunollie, left to-day on a visit to Christchurch.

Mr G. P. Avery, Railways Traffic staff, Otira, will leave oh Monday, on transfer to Southbridge.

Mr Fred Eller, who has been visiting the West Coast, left to-day for Christchurch.

Mr. and Mrs W. E. Richards, Hokitika, were passengers by this morning’s express to Christchurch.

Archdeacon Carr, who has been attending the Jubilee celebrations of the Anglican community at Westport, returned to Greymouth this morning.

Mrs J. H. Williams, who has been visiting her sister, Mrs E. Adkins, and Miss Thyra Williams, left to-day* for Christchurch and Wellington.

Mr J. O’Brien, Boiler Inspector for the Railway Loco Department, who has been visiting the Westland and Buller sections, returned to-day to Christchurch.

Mr W. Young, of the “Grey River Argus” linotype staff, w’ho has accepted a position with the “Manawatu Standard,” left this morning for Palmerston North. He was the recipient of a presentation from the staff of the “Argus” yesterday.

Mr W. M’Kay, for many years in business in Greymouth and Hokitika, and now a resident of Christchurch, has been confined to his bed for the past few days with a severe illness. He was reported to be improving today.
