RAILWAY NOTICES. TIMETABLE

The following timetable ALTERATIONS will be brought into operation as from DECEMBER sth, 1927. All trains will maintain the usual connections, and will adhere to the usual stoppages, unless otherwise Stated" * 1 ' GREYMOUTH—CHRISTCHURCH. Tile Mail train, which at present leaves Greymouth for Christchurch on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 10.35 a.m., will leave at 10.28 a.m. (7 minutes earlier than at present), Brunner 10.47, Stillwater 10.57, Moana 11.32 a.m., Otira 1.16 p.m. and arrive Christchurch 5.23 p.m. The Christchurch—Greymouth Mail train (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays) will' leave Christchurch at 9.45 a.m., Otira 2.39 p.m., Moana 3.36, Stillwater 4.19 and arrive Greymouth 4.38 p.m. GREYMOUTH—OTIRA: The afternoon train for Otira will leave Greymouth at 4.40 p.m. (instead of 4.30 p.m.), Stillwater 5.20, Moana 6.22, Jackson 7.32 and arrive Otira 8.20 p.m. The morning train for Greymouth will leave Otira 7.40 a.m., Jackson 8.9, Moana 9.12, Stillwater 10.7, and arrive Greymouth 10.48 a.m. GREYMOUTH—REEFTON: The morning train for Reefton will leave Greymouth at 7.15 a.m. (instead of 7.20 a.m.), Stillwater 7.53, Ngahere Junction 8.14, Ahaura 8.34, Ikamatua 9.6, and arrive Reefton 10.7 a.m. The morning train for Greymouth will leave Reefton at 8.50 a.m. (instead of 8.20), Ikamatua 9.47, Ahaura 10.13, Ngahere Junction 10.34, Stillwater 10.58, and arrive Greymouth at 11.32 a.m. After leaving Stillwater this train will stop only to allow passengers from north of Stillwater to alight. It connects at Stillwater on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays with the Greymouth—Christchurch Mail train. The afternoon train for Reefton will leave Greymouth at 3.50 p.m. (instead of 4.0 p.m.), Stillwater 4.34, Ngahere Junction 4.53, Ahaura 5.14, Ikamatua 5.45 and arrive Reefton at 6.35 p.m. This train stops at Kaiata, Dobson and Wallsend only to pick up passengers for north of Stillwater. It connects at Stillwater on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays with the Christchurch —Greymouth Mail train. The afternoon train for Greymouth will leave Reefton at 3.45 p.m (instead of 4.0 p.m.), Ikamatua 4.40, Ahaura 5.14, Ngahere Junction 5.35, Stillwater 5.56,' and arrive Greymouth 6.33 p.m. The alterations have reduced considerably the waiting time at Stillwater for passengers ex the Reefton line joining the Greymouth—Christchurch Mail train, and of passengers off the Christchurch —Greymouth Mail train for the Reefton line. MOTOR SERVICE WESTPORT—REEFTON:

The Westport—Reefton motor services will connect with the 8.50 a.m. Reefton —Greymouth train on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, and with the 3.45 p.m. Reefton —Greymouth train daily. ' The Reefton—Westport motor services will connect with the 7.15 a.m. Greymouth—Reefton train daily, and with the 3.50 p.m. Greymouth—Reefton train on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. REEFTON—INANGAHUA JUNCTION The trains between Reefton and Inangahua Junction will run on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays as follow; — Reefton depart 10.45 a.m. (instead of 11.0 a.m.) and run correspondingly earlier to Inangahua Junction. Reefton depart 7.5 p.m. (instead of 7.30 p.m.), and run correspondingly earlier to Inangahua Junction. Inangahua Junction depart 12.35 p.m. (instead of 12.50 p.m.), and run correspondingly earlier to Reefton. Inangahua Junction depart 8.55 p.m. (instead of 9.20 p.m.), and run correspondingly earlier to Reefton. GREYMOUTH—NGAHERE JUNCTION—BLACKBALL. The present 8.25 a.m. Ngahere Junction —Blackball train will leave Ngahere Junction at 8.19 a.m., after the arrival of the 7.15 a.m. Greymouth —Reefton train, and arrive Blackball 8.39 a.m. i The present 9.40 a.m. Blackball — Ngahere Junction train, will leave Blackball at 10.0 a.m. and arrive'Ngahere Junction 10.20 a.m., connecting with the 8.50 a.m. Reefton —Greymouth train.

The present .10.25 a.m. Ngahere Junction —Blackball train will leave Ngahere Junction at 10.40 a.m., after the arrival of the 8.50 a.m. Reefton — Greymouth train, and arrive Blackball 11.0 a.m. The present 4.30 p.m. Blackball — Ngahere Junction train will leave Blackball at 4.15 p.m. and arrive Ngahere Junction at 4.35 p.m.; connecting with the 3.45 p.m. Reefton —Greymouth train. The present 5.10 p.m. Ngahere Junction —Blackball train will leave Ngahere Junction at 4.55 p.m. after the arrival of the 3.45 p.m. Greymouth— Reefton train, and arrive Blackball at 5.15 p.m. The present 10.57 a.m. Greymouth— Blackball train will leave Greymouth at 11.5 a.m., Stillwater 11.56, Ngahere Junction 12.26 p.m., and arrive Blackball 12.46 p.m. The present 1.5 p.m. Blackball — Greymouth train will leave Blackball' at 1.15 p.m., Ngahere Junction 1.45, Stillwater 2.15 p.m. and arrive Greymouth 2.50 p.m./ The present 6.5 p.m. Blackball— Greymouth Saturday train will leave Blackball at 5.50 p.m., Ngahere Junction 6.15, Stillwater 6.42, and arrive Greymouth 7.20 p.m. v GREY MOUTH—HOKITIKA: The morning train for Hokitika will leave Greymouth 7.45 a.m. (instead of 7.50 a.m.), Kumara 8.32, Arahura 9.2, and arrive at Hokitika 9.21 a.m. The evening train for Hokitika will leave Greymouth at 4.55 p.m. (instead of 4.40 p.m.), Kumara 5.42, Arahura 6.10 and arrive Hokitika 6.30 p.m. The morning, train for Greymouth will leave Hokitika at 8.40 a.m. (instead of 8.45 a.m.), Arahura 9.0, Kumara 9.32, and arrive Greymouth 10.15 a.m.

The train which at present leaves Hokitika for Greymouth on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and .Fridays at 4.35 p.m. will not leave until 4.50 p.m., Arahura 5.10, Kumara 5.41, and arrive Greymouth 6.25 p.m. On Saturdays the afternoon train for Greymouth will leave Hokitika at 5.50 p.m. (instead of 5.35 p.m.), Arahura 6.11, Kumara 6.43, and arrive Greymouth 7.25. HOKITIKA—ROSS. On Thursdays and Saturdays the evening train for Ross will leave Hokitika at 7.0 p.m. (instead of 6.50 p.m'.), and arrive Ross at 7.55 p.m. This train connects with the 4.55 p.m. Greymouth—Hokitika train.
