WAIROA V. NAPIER. (Per Press Association.) WAIROA, Sept. 10. •In the Sachs Johnson Shield match, to-day, Wairoa ladies defeated Napier by 3 goals to nil. WELLINGTON CHAMPIONSHIP. WELLINGTON, Sept. 11. Karori A beat Wesley by 1 to 0, thus winning the senior championship. WEDNESDAY’S TOURNAMENT. A six-a-side hockey tournament will be held on Wednesday, September 14, to decide the holders of the Mawhera Cup for 1927. Teams from Hokitika, Runanga, Stars, United and Mawhera will cross sticks in what Is expected to be a keenly contested competition. Over twelve teams are expected to compete.
