RAGLAN BY-ELECTION
STRUGGLE FOR NOMINATION. (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Sept. 9. Ebenezer Allan, of Auckland, who entered the Raglan by-election in the Reform interest, stated to-day that he had signed an agreement to place his name among those of other Reform aspirants, and had handed the agreement to his committee to do as they thought fit. Probably his name might still be before the Reform selection conference in Tuakau tomorrow. In consequence of the threatened division of the Labour vote, a meeting of delegates from the mining districts and the northern Waikato will be held at Huntly to-morrow.
