CHOPPING AND SAWING
CHAMPIONSHIPS FOR COAST. A considerable attraction during the Grey Diamond Jubilee celebrations in February next will be the sports meeting to be conducted at Greymouth under the auspices of the Kotuku Sports Club. The enterprise of the latter body, in endeavouring to provide a unique programme, has been successful, and the Club has now received advice that no fewer than four championships have been allotted for decision at its meeting. They will comprise two world’s championships and two Dominion championships, and will alone ensure the success of the sports meeting.
