WANDERING CATTLE.

(To the Editor.) Sir, —Might I be permitted to call the attention of Traffic Inspector Sloss, through the columns of your paper, to the number of straying cattle on the Paroa Road. It is a well-known fact, that some owners in this locality have no othei” run for their cattle than the main road, and they are to be found there from one end of the week to the other. One cow, in particular, owned on the south side of the South Beach mill, is an everlasting source of annoyance on the road —day and night—and despite previous warnings from the Inspector. I am, etc., “BROAD ACRE.”
