LONDON, May 15
Brilliant welcomes are being arranged for M. Doumengue and M. Briand, who are visiting London tomorrow to Thursday, including a State banquet at Buckingham Palace, dinner at the Foreign Office, the luncheon at the Guildhall.
President Doumergue will have the degree of Doctor of Laws conferred on him at Oxford on Tuesday. Newspapers publish welcomes in French. Diplomatic correspondents attach importance to M. Briand’s discussions with Sir. A. Chamberlain on the evacuation of the Rhineland.
