MANY CRUSHED TO DEATH. (Australian & N.Z. Gable Assn.) DELHI, April 13. Fifty-five people, mostly women, were crushed to death in a wild rush by a thousand Hindus for the honour of being the first to bathe in the Ganges, at the Kumbh Mela, the famous United Province festival held every twelfth year.
