Since the Now or Never Art Union fiasco, there have been sheaves of letters to the city and provincial press (telegraphed our Auckland correspondent). Quite a unique aspect was presented by another dissatisfied investor, who stated that he purchased a ticket on the closing day of the Now or Never Art Union, filled in the duplicate butt and sent it to the secretary, enclosing a stamped and addressed envelope for acknowledgment. He received no reply,, but yesterday, in his own addressed envelope, got a notice for the Last Of All Art Union. He therefore asks how when there are two distinct secretaries, a stamped envelope sent for a specific purpose, comes to be used for advertising a different lottery, and also whether in the circumstances, his ticket did actually participate in the Now or Never ballot.
