Taken at Greymouth at 9 a.m. today—Wnd, east; barometer, 29.84; thermometer, 53; tides, moderate; bar, moderate swell. AT OTHER CENTRES. Wanganui: Light S.E. wind, cloudy, passing showers, sea smooth, rain 20 pts.; Wellington: S.S.E. breeze, blue sky, rain 18pts.; Westport: Light S.E. wind, blue slsy, tides moderate, sea smooth, rain 23pts.; Christchurch: S.W. fresh breeze, blue sky, tides good, heavy rain during night. WEATHER FORECAST. “The indications are for southerly moderate to strong winds. The weather will probably he cool and changeable, with very cold night. The barometer lias a rising tendency. Sea good and tides moderate.”
