END OF THE SESSION. (Australian & N.Z. Cable Assn.) SYDNEY, November 3,0. In the Assembly, the motion by Mr Bavin (Opposition Leader! to reduce supply to a sum sufficient for two months, instead of the four months asked, was defeated by 45 votes to 42. Messrs Loughlin, Goodwin, and Gillies voting with the Government. The House then passed the four months’ supply. The Legislative Council passed the Supply Bill without amendment. Parliament then went into recess. The elections will probably be held in the middle of March.
