Every buyer of a membership ticket will assist the piojOct, not only from a monetary point of view, but because the fact of membership creates a personal interest that has a moral effect on ]the Show and assures its success. idle Committee hope to receive such solid support of membership that the success of the Show will be assured for years to come. This Show promises to assume such large dimensions that a mere handful of enthusiasts will not be able to run it, but that it will be necessary to-have a large number who will desire to push the Coast along and who will throw all their energies into making a success of these shows,, which are the best means of advertising the wonderful resources of the district. Get a schedule from Mr C. H. Rose, secretary, P.O. Box 171, Greymouth, and send in your entries to him by Wednesday, February 3. Co-operate and make this Show the biggest success the Coast has seen yet. Whippet racing will be an innovation to tlie West Coast. Arrangements have been made with Mr Johns, of Christchurch, who has been invited to judge at the Show to bring a good team of these dogs. A whippet hurdle I’ace will be included. This is a pastime which should gain rapidly in popularity locally, as some consider it superior to coursing, as these dogs are easily and cheaply trained!* m
