Several post sectional games in the pairs were played. • The singles championship will bo concluded to-ttiortbW; The committee of the Nelson Bowling Club has decided to light the top green by electricity. The decision was brought about by an evident desire on the part of many members to participate in evening or after tea play. The committee’s appeal for financial assistance has been most satisfactory and will enable the work to be undertaken without trespassing upon the Club’s funds. Provision is made for four 1000 .watt lights, enabling the green, to be used from any direction. The work will be put in hand at once and it is hoped to have an opening night on Wednesday, Jan. 27.
