HOKITIKA, June 27. The Supreme Court sittings concluded late last night, Mr Justice Alpers presiding. x In a claim, for trespass damages, Fred Newman was granted £65, with costs, a'jgtiinst the Hokitika-Kanieii Sawmill co. In Thomas Johnston v. Lilian Fitzsimmons, a claim for damages tor alleged misicpres-entation'in the sale o v the lyase of the Westland Opera House, his Honqr found misrepresentation and fraud on the facts, and reserved decision on the damages. W. Jeffries v. J. Cron, claim for damages arising out of a cancelled deal in cattle, the proceedings were adjourned to enable counsel to supply written argument.
