Cox has joined the Kaituna as mate in succession, to Mr. H. Collier. - - ■
Mr. R. Suckling has succeeded Mr. R. Ingram as second mate of the Kaimai.
The post of chief of the Rakanoa is now occupied by Mr. L. T. Brosnahan, vice Mr. L. C. Davies, and Mr. E. Al. Denby has been engaged as second engineer of the vessel. Mr. J. 1W Walshe has replaced Air. T. Bevan as second mate of the Rakapoa.
The Waipori has completed loading coal for Dunedin and Bluff, and sails to-night. The Kaiapoi arrived on Saturday from Wellington with general cargo, and will load coal and timber on arrival for return to the same, port. The Kakapo is expected to arrive early: next week from Wellington. The Kamona is due early next week from Auckland, via Westport, with general cargo. ’She loads coal and timbei' on aii’ival here for Auckland.
The Tees sailed this morning for ’Waikokopu,’ timber laden. She returns about next ATonday and will load coal and another cargo of timber for Waikokopu. • , - The Gabriella is loading timber for Alelbourne, and is expected to sail on Wednesday next. The Joan Craig is due from Wa* nganui about June 25, and will load timber for .Melbourne.
The-Ret'iilus sailed yesterday afternoon for Tarakohe with a full load of coal.
The Orepuki is due to-morrow aftcr--I'6oll from Lyttelton, via 'Wellington. Nelson and M'estport, with general cargo. After discharge she loads for Wellington and New Plymouth. The Waimea sailed on Saturday for Nelson and Wanganui with a. cargo nf coal and timber.
