HALJFAX (Novu Scotia), June 12

AVclrd was received here this morning, indicating that disorders are spreading in the ( ape Breton district, where the coal miners are striking, dieting is reported to have broken out in New Aberdeen, Glace Bay district. AYONTHAGGI DISPUTE

MELBOURNE, June 13

Six hundred men struck at the AYonthaggi State Goal mine. The trouble was due to the management refusing to replace a hook instead of a link on the tail of the chain which harnesses the pony to the skip. The Mines Department states that the Union has ordered the strikers to resume.
